SHORT TRACK SPEED SKATING COMPETITION

 

January 15-17, 2010 – Szeged / HUNGARY

 

 

1. The place of competition: Szeged (Ice Hall)

 

2. Participation: Only registered competitors of the ISU Member are allowed to participate.

 

2. Age groups:

 

SENIOR "S" + JUNIOR "A" (Ladies and Men)	Born before – 06.30, 1992
JUNIOR "B" (Ladies and Men)	07.01, 1992 – 06.30, 1994
JUNIOR "C" (Girls and Boys)	07.01, 1994 – 06.30, 1996
JUNIOR "D" (Girls and Boys)	07.01, 1996 – 06.30, 1998
JUNIOR "E" (Girls and Boys)	07.01, 1998 – 06.30, 2000
JUNIOR "F" (Girls and Boys)	Born after 07.01, 2000

 

The competitors can be entered to one age group higher.

 

2. Distances:

Individual:

Senior +Junior „A 1500m 500m 1000m

Junior „B” 1500m 500m 1000m

Junior „C” 1500m 500m 1000m

Junior „D” 1000m 500m 777m

Junior „E” 777m 333m 500m

Junior „F” 500m 222m 333m

Relay:

 

Senior + Junior A + Junior B	3000m Ladies 5000m Men
Junior C + Junior D	2000m (4 skaters)
Junior E + Junior F	2000m (3 skaters)

 

2. Rules:

The competition will be conducted according to ISU Rule 2008.

 

2. Awarding

The first, second and third skaters of the individual overall competition in each age group will receive medals accordingly.

The final classification will be calculated by accumulating the final points 34-21-13-8-5-3-2-1 scored in the Finals.

The first, second and third teams of the relay competition will receive medals accordingly.

 

2. Equipments:

Only equipments required by the ISU Rule 294. 1. can be used in the competitions. The compulsory rounding of the corners of the blades will be controlled.

 

The same uniform is mandatory in the Relay event .
